Here is a sample of a 6D Material setup on a smoke simulation still. The Material was inspired by work found on Real-Time VFX forum and further by Asher Zhu. This iteration only uses 4 texture channels and estimates front/back via material maths functions. My next goal is to make it a Material Function for ease of use and to keep materials as neat as possible. Then repeat the process using flipbook animations
