This sequence was to experiment with the explosive /pyro effects I had been making. I took the scene from the EpicGames Marketplace (ZeroGravityPartOne) and added my own effects, created a new lighting set up, then rendered out my own unique cinematic sequence to show off the FX in scene. To add another dynamic to the render, I used UE4's preset for 70mm IMAX cameras, it gives an increased cinematic feel, combined with post-process volumes for grain and chromatic aberrations.
I used a combination of Houdini and Blender for simulations, to then convert the frames into a flipbook, ready for UE4.
I also used assets from Kallari (paragon) and Hollywood Asset Pack VOL.2
